Lenten and Divine Services Livestreamed on YouTube

As announced on Tuesday, March 17, 2020, and in alignment with guidance from the Archdiocese of America and the Metropolis of San Francisco, participation by the Resurrection Faithful in services, until announced otherwise, will be virtually only, because of the Coronavirus Pandemic.

Lenten services and Divine Liturgy services are being livestreamed and available for worshippers to view on the Resurrection Greek Orthodox Church YouTube channel: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCCPSwUIDbfi9qdmyJfUnHrQ.

This Week’s Services via Livestream:
Wednesday, March 25th – Divine Services @ 8:00 a.m.
Friday, March 27th – Fourth Salutations to the Theotokos @ 7:00 p.m.
Sunday, March 29th – Orthros/Matins @ 8:45 a.m. and Divine Services @ 10:00 a.m.
Monday, March 30th – Great Compline @ 7:00 p.m.

Watch the services as a family to stay connected to your parish family. We are a community of faith, not individuals. Follow along in the online liturgy book at http://www.agesinitiatives.com/dcs/public/dcs/servicesindex.html (individual links will be provided in the comments section of the video with every broadcast). If you are watching on your laptop or cell phone, position yourself by your icons in your home. If you watch on your TV, bring some icons into the room with you. Try to stand for most of the service and sit for the homily if you get tired.

We can find comfort in knowing that we are all in God’s hands. This is a time for us to be more obedient, vigilant and Christ-centered. Have faith. Read your Bible. Continue the fast. Pray for those who are elderly, sick, frightened, alone; pray to the Virgin Mary for protection, and to all the Saints for their intercessions. May this bring us closer to our Lord God and Savior, Jesus Christ, through our prayers, intercessions, and relationship with His mother and all His saints.
