An Important Message from the Parish Council

Dear Resurrection Faithful,

We appreciate everyone who has continued to support the Parish during these unprecedented times. We thank Fr. Niko, our chanters, altar servers, and those who have volunteered to stream our services for helping us continue to stay connected to our Orthodox faith and each other.

Ministry during this time cannot stop – it is simply taking on a new and different form!
We are streaming our Lenten services live on YouTube (which are also available afterwards for on-demand viewing); Anna is engaging our youth through weekly video calls; Justin Bosl is recording his “Living God”  series of discussions for viewing on our YouTube channel; Father Niko is sending out daily Flocknote email messages of inspiration; Renee is posting the latest information to our Facebook page and church website, and other ministries are connecting virtually as well.

We need your continued support. At this time, we are able to meet our financial obligations through April, but in order for us to continue to be financially sound, we are relying on receiving your monthly stewardship gifts. Your donations also enable us to help those who are personally in need and can’t fully support the parish right now.

Please continue to offer your stewardship commitment online or by mailing a check to the church office at 20104 Center Street, Castro Valley. You can also make your Sunday weekly tray offering, light a 7-day candle or contribute a special “giving appeal” gift online at:

Together, and with God’s amazing grace, we will get through these difficult times and emerge as an even stronger, loving, and inclusive parish.
