Once again, thanks be to God! With the goal of providing the sacrament of Holy Communion to as many parishioners as possible, and aligning with our mission to Bring People Closer to God, we will begin offering in-person, outdoor Divine Services for Resurrection parishioners beginning this Sunday, July 26, 2020.
Parishioners who already registered to attend services on July 19 or 26, 2020 will receive a confirmation email later this week inviting them to attend our first in-person, outdoor service this Sunday. Divine Services will also continue to be live-streamed on our YouTube channel and Facebook page for viewing remotely.
Registration for in-person, outdoor Divine Services in August is open to Resurrection Parishioners only at: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/ServRSVP. Reservations will continue to be taken on a first come, first served basis, and are being monitored to ensure that all parishioners have an opportunity to attend services in the next few months.
IMPORTANT: Guidelines, Restrictions, and Procedures
As before, there are liturgical guidelines and strict limits on how many people may gather for services, which we must follow – especially as we will be very visible to the general public. Please remember that outdoor gathering is permitted for worship only, not socializing with other parishioners and/or family members. All of the procedures which have been in place for service reservations, check-in, face coverings, and social-distancing will continue and must be followed. Please read the “Preparing for In-Person, Outdoor Divine Services” instructions BEFORE coming to church. No exceptions.
If we do not follow the restrictions issued by the Metropolis of San Francisco and the Alameda County Health Department, we jeopardize our ability to not only offer in-person Divine Services (indoors or outdoors), but also the privilege of live-streaming our services to those watching remotely. Please be respectful of all guidelines and the volunteers who are helping to keep the church open safely.
If you have any questions or concerns, please use the “Parish Council Ask Us Anything” portal to ensure a timely response.
Thank you for your continued prayers for our Parish community — and the whole world — during this pandemic.
Stay safe and take care,
The Parish Council Contingency Planning Task Force and Reopening Readiness Team
